What we'll talk about

What we talked about

Bruno tried four setups before landing on the one his team uses now. These are the main things he learned, and the full summary adds his prompt rules and the audience Q&A.

  1. Research had become Swiss cheese
LearnUpon had two and a half years of research, but each study answered one specific question and few of them connected. The team also kept talking to the same engaged customers.
  2. NotebookLM was a dead end
Bruno combined Looppanel snippets, reports and spreadsheets in one chat. It was useful, but the documents went out of date fast and old findings stopped holding true.
  3. Claude became the shared research pool
Persona skills built from existing research, connectors to Drive, Jira and Confluence, and live customer feedback through the Pendo MCP. A citation rule keeps every quote verbatim and linked to its source.
  4. Synthetic users work best early on
They work best in discovery or a first pass on a PRD. Anchor them in live feedback and outside research so they don't amplify your own bias.
  5. Use them to pressure-test, then talk to customers
Synthetic users are good for poking holes in an idea early. Validating it still takes one-on-one conversations with real customers.
They can be super helpful as a first pass, as a stress test in certain ideas, but they won't replace actual customer feedback.

I'd be very disappointed if I can't use the Looppanel analysis board. It's useful because I can trust nothing is getting missed in analysis.

The best thing is the ease with which we can share a video snippet which helps our team align.

When my researcher tells me that it takes me 30% of the time to analyze interview with this tool than other tools, that made me excited to bring Looppanel into Kiwi.
